Gaia Gaja was invited to speak at the 2019 Grounded Summit in Sonoma County, CA on March 21st. Gaia discussed her perspective on climate change and its effect on the wine industry. Gaia shared information on the work her family has been implementing in their vineyards. She also described the winemaking practices that the Gaja family has used to respond to both the good and bad effects of climate change.
The Grounded Summit is an intimate two-day event convening the world’s foremost climate change experts: scientists, activists, world leaders, artists, and business people to educate and share solutions to our climate crisis.
