Critic’s Top 100 includes GAJA wines at #3, #40 and #43, with GAJA Barbaresco Sori San Lorenzo 2013 leading the way.

3labelsJames Suckling tasted more than 3,000 Italian wines this year, and his list of the 100 Top Italian Wines of 2016 includes three from Gaja.

Leading the way at No. 3 was the Gaja Barbaresco Sorì San Lorenzo 2013. Suckling calls this “an emotional wine for me, as it represents a perfect nebbiolo and also the return of the Gaja family to using the Barbaresco appellation.”

Gaja Barbaresco Sorì Tildin 2013 was No. 40 on the list, and Gaja Barbaresco Costa Russi 2013 was No. 43.
