What do George and Amal Clooney, Rihanna, and Naomi Campbell all have in common? A taste for GAJA wines, it appears.
US Weekly recently spotted George and Amal dining out at Dal Bolognese restaurant, in Rome, where the actor and human rights lawyer had traveled to meet the pope:
“They ate antipasto with Italy’s finest prosciutto, buffalo mozzarella cheese and culatello, a very fine cured ham from Emilia Romagna,” a staff member from the high-end Italian eatery tells Us. “All the food was washed down with an expensive wine from one of the most famous Italian wine producers, Gaja, particularly famous for top red wines.”
Meanwhile, Page Six in the Post just spied Rihanna and Naomi at Emilio’s Ballato in New York:
We’re told the singer, who arrived in a colorful caftan, and the supermodel, along with six friends, dined on antipasto, ravioli with meat sauce, pasta e fagioli and rigatoni alla bolognese, washed down with bottles of Soldera Brunello and Gaja white wine.
